Cholesterol Now is a campaign to give healthcare professionals tools and information on cholesterol management to support patients in taking control of their cardiovascular health. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains the leading cause of premature mortality in England, causing a quarter of all deaths in the UK.1 Improving the treatment of high-risk conditions, such as high cholesterol, is a vital part of CVD prevention. As set out in the NHS Long Term Plan - CVD is the single biggest area where the NHS can save lives over the next 10 years.
