Hospital infections account for 37k deaths a year, in Europe alone. We needed to remind hospital staff to follow hospital protocols, in a way that cuts through. Instead of blaming staff for not following protocols, we said 'Thank you!' for all the times they have. Inspired by UV lighting, which reveals bacteria, we assigned contrasting colours to each risk area. We created a bespoke font and grid structure, then locked up our ads with our mobile 'Thank you!' logo. Colour coded stickers provided nudge reminders in the ICU, whilst our Thank you! app encourages staff to thank their co-workers.
